Feature Flooring
Cleaning
Cleaning
Feature Flooring is completely non-porous. This means that dirt and grease just lay on the surface. Cleaning can be accomplished with mild soap and a squeegee.

Care & Maintenance
Feature Flooring must be protected from traffic, the chemicals listed below, and abuse during the curing process. Epoxy generally takes seven days for a full cure, however the floors can be opened to foot traffic in 10-12 hours.

New Installed Floors
Newly installed floors should be cleaned with clean hot water for the first week. If the hot water doesn't clean it enough, you may use a mild detergent, i.e.; Ivory Soap or Safecare Cleaner. Do not use any cleaner with Chlorine, MEK, Acetone, Methylene, Chloride, Butyl, Xylene, Delimer, Phosphoric Acid or Hypochlorite for an extended period.

Maintenance Procedures
Good housekeeping practices and regulated spill removal will prolong the service life of the floor. Feature Flooring floors are not self-cleaning nor non-staining. The following procedures are recommended weekly or on an as-needed basis.

Spills must be removed and rinsed at the first opportunity. Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris. Use a mild detergent, such as Simple Green or Safecare Cleaner, dissolved in hot water. Scrub surface with deck brush, power washer, or scrub machine, then rinse completely with warm water. Water can be removed with wet vacuum or squeegee to drain. Conventional methods, like mops, are really only good for small spills and are not recommended for total floor cleaning.

Cautions
1. Never, under any circumstances, use an abrasive or scouring powder type cleaner. These cleaners will harm the surface and may only be corrected by installing a new topcoat.

2. Never use any degreasers or cleaners with ingredients that contain Xylene, Butyl, Methylene Chloride, Acetone, Hypochlorite, MEK, Phosphoric Acid or Delimer.
